Last weekend I spent a sunny morning (and early afternoon) browsing Munich's largest flea market of the year. One of the things I picked up was a set of mother of pearl vintage buckles. Their delicate size and form make a great match with the beautiful ribbons from the German "Bandweberei Kafka".
A selection of their products can be found here, here and here. For buckles like this, Ebay and thrifting seem to be the only sources - looks like, apart from the coarser sarong buckle version, they aren't made anymore...
